I’m Barney de la Cloche, a travel and events photographer from Jersey, Channel Islands. I Studied at London School of Photography in 2017.

Growing up, I assisted my Dad (Jamesdlc) in wedding and elephant photography in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Later on I persued my passion for music events and I was able to dive into opportunities offered by various festivals, nightclubs, and even the catwalk, these included; BLKOUT, Vanguard Jersey, Jersey VIP, The Bridal Boutique, and Audio Assassins.

As I usually have my camera close by, I have been able to capture some incredible moments of history, some of which would never be seen again such as the NEOWISE comet which features in some of my prints exhibited today.

I bring these moments into the world by professionally printing them and displaying them in local cafes and bars in Jersey like Krafty J's. I also sell prints at RampArts events, a local non-profit artistic charity.

Ongoing, through RampArts, I help people looking for exposure, organising photoshoots with bands, models, stylists and designers. I also proudly donated my largest print so far to Headway, which can be seen upon entry in their hallway.

Expanding my knowledge of the world will always be my strongest passion, and I believe my camera is the right tool for me to achieve this. It has taken me on so many journeys and helped me meet so many amazing people. Looking forward, I see myself with a camera in hand, located somewhere that is currently a mystery to me. My future vision is to help people through photography. Aiming to aid people’s focus and clear their minds, allowing them to access visual portals to a calm, pure, and completely different place.

Love and light, Barney de la Cloche
