The De La Cloche School of Photography

My life has revolved around the camera so it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you my school of photography.

I aim to teach you photography from my professional point of view. The classes focus on developing your knowledge of the camera and it’s settings, photography history and practical challenges to help you expand your limits.

If you have a feeling of wonder then this is your sign! I would like to introduce my guide to you which will help sync your camera with your perspective, making the camera not just a machine you use to take photos with but an extension of your body, mind and spirit.

About the Classes

Is this the school for you?

If you’re curious about deepening your perspective then the short answer is, yes.

I will personally assist you and teach you about your camera, what it can do, guide you through your equiptment, lead you into practical outdoor lessons and show you how to edit your photographs in post-production. And much more.

We start with functionality. To sync the camera with yourself one must first have full controlability of the camera and know it’s capabilities. The camera is much like our eyes yet in many ways has power’s which go far beyond our vision. Like taming a stallion, we must tame our mind’s to become compatible with our camera in any situation. Extending our perspective into a new realm of memorising stillness through the art of photography. So, we study our camera by looking at what we have in our hands first.

Diving deeper into the school we start to grasp composure, lighting, framing, post-production, street, landscape, portrait and more.

Post-production and practical lessons are incuded in these classes, so please bring a device to edit with Adobe Lightroom and come prepared for outdoor activities.
